1980 300sd w116 normal engine rpm on freeway?

these have a 4 speed automatic right? curious what the engine rpm should be if on the freeway @ 55, 65, 75. also wondering how high these can rev safley.

They start out in second gear. Mine is running about 3600 RPM's at 60 MPH
