The door locks on my son's '87 190e 2.6 suddenly stopped working. Also, for some reason, the passenger door button will not stay up (unlocked). Is this a vacuum or electrical problem? Any suggestions will be appreciated as to what to look for to fix this problem.

 

if it is the same as my 86 190E then you may have to check the vacuum control unit under the back seat cushion. I had to replace mine when my door locks just quit working
