Default 190E air flow swap with a 450se/sel

I heard that you could swap the 190E airflow sensor for the 450se/sel. I was wondering if any one has done this or heard about it. What's involved and how much fabrication is needed. also what were the results you had

The old 450's ( up to around the 76 model year ) use CIS injection while the 190's use KE injection, those throttle plates are completely different. The newer 450's did use KE injection as well and the those throttle plates look similar. I don't know anyone that has swapped one over though.

Yeah I hear that the 450 is a little bit larger might yield 10 to 15 hp but a ton of fab work involved so not all that worth while I might try any way if I get a 450 throttle body assembly cheap enough Just to say I did it
