Hello all, the alternator bracket at the top of the alternator that connscts the alternator to the enging block has cracked. It looks like it might be a piece of aluminium, it is bolted on to the engine using 2 bolts...

is there somewhere i can find a picture of this? in a parts schematic/drawing of some sort...

This is listed for 190E 1.8 chassis 201.018 engine 102.910

if it is 2.3 engine it may be different.

if you provide chassis and engine numbers or better yet VIN and I can more specific

Awesome, its part 146...it cracked because i did not have a bolt holding the bottom of the alternator. The part is 30 dollars canadian by the way...and scrap yards apparently do not have the time to take the part off the car.
