04/05 S400 CDI ESP problem
 

OK so here's my problem, although its not really my problem however my fathers.

He recently purchased a late model 04 early model 05 S400 CDI and loves it, however after a month of driving the car suddenly shut itself off and the "ESP visit workshop" comes up on the DIC.

Now he said it takes him almost an hour to start it up again and then always when the car is warm it dies.

Now personally I dont know how the S ECU works and why it shuts down and I highly doubt it might be due to the MAF or some water in the Control unit, the history of the car is that it used to be a company vehicle and that it was always serviced by Mercedes.

Car is located in Austria and im located in Shanghai so all I can do is relay the information here = =

I have seen tons of similar problems on the forum and haven't seen a response as to what might solve the problem, actually half the threads were left with no replies....

Sleepwalker, im curious since you have the most experience with the MB electronic problem are you still in China?
