out of Cutiosity. How Much Power?
 

I just signed up for this website because I inherited a 300D from my father. I have been wondering for some time how muc power and torque you could realistically squeeze out of these old school diesel engines. I was thinking along the lines of adding an intercooler, nitrous and propane injection, stuff like that. I kind of came to the conclusion that no matter what you did you would eventually hit the limit of how much fuel the injection pump could put out, and there probably aren't too many reasonable options to overcome that. Anyway, I see that a few of you guys have a decent number of mods in your sig, and I was wondering how much power and torque you guys have squeezed out of the engine?

Cool, that was a lot more detailed response than I expected. I didn't even think of things like the prechambers cracking, but it definately makes sense.
