Looking for rear window gasket
 

Hi all,
I have a 1980 300SD and I'm looking for the rear window gasket. My body shop guy has been working on repairing the rust and installing new interior carpeting. The part that is holding things up is finding the rubber gasket for the rear window. It's dried out/cracking and needs to be replaced.

Are there any suppliers or resources that you all know about? He's had my car for one month, and finding the right gasket is now going on two weeks.
BTW, I hope I'm not coming across as mad or venting, I bet it's hard to find parts for these cars; I just want to get my daily driver back! :)

I am probably too late, but....

Several sources have told me that the aftermarket rubber seals are not worth the $30 savings.
They don't seal correctly, and the chrome moldings 'pop out'.
I sure would like to hear how it turned out....
