does anyone have a diagram or chart showing the inline pump for the 2.2D in the 190D in tryin to turn up the pump for a lil more power and mainly the black smoke, but anything or a site with it would help. thanx

thanks for the diagram.

i was under the inpression that the more fuel you put in= more power an cooler combustion temps, but if not a hotter combustion temp wouldnt it be better considering that diesels need 790 degrees F to start ingntion an anything up to 1200 is good. where as after 1200 the formation of NoX ocurr.

im not saying your wrong or im right but this is just what i heard from CAT an Cummings instructors

thanks for the help. it had been awhile since i heard that so i wasnt to sure.

how is the VNT controlled on your car? that seems a bit new tech for a older vehical, is it like on a stand alone/piggy back?

thats tight man i have only seen them on newer motors thats why i was confused about how you got it on your car. do you know if there is a manifold that i could use off a similer motor for a turbo on my car or would i just have to have a turbo header made for it, cuz i wanna run boost once i get the 5 speed, but like i said im pretty new to mercedes an i just dont know. i only ask cuz my friends E30 he can use a 5 series TD manifold for a turbo on his.
