81 300 cd modifications
 

what modificaions can improve the performance, mileage and reliability of my 300cd??? everything is stock right now. i use mann filters everywhere and delo oil by chevron. afraid to try synthtic oil since it's 27 yrs old with origional seals. any suggestions?

i knew you would respond. i am glad you did. you recomnd fram wix/napa how about maeli (not sure of the spelling). i will certainly get the wix/napa or fram but i have two of these left and was going to order more mann.
isn't the funnel part of the PVC system?

so where is the funnel you are talking about? is it the cold air intake at the front of the car? that looks to be a little restrictive. otherwise it's a straight shot.
i am going to do the lash next week and that should bring everything up to date. when i do that is it best to do it cold or warm? i have heard both.
if i still have your attention, when should i replace the timing chain? car has 75543 miles on it.

I want to try that Wix oil filter.. Do u know what's that filter #?
