Im going to buy E220CDI 2000+ or E220D.
Here in S-Petersburg Russia diesel engines are not popular at all. But there is a good service for it anyway.
I`d be very glad if anyone of you could suggest what to choose.
1. How much is turbine cost?
2. How long does it go?
3. As for dynamics there is a great difference: 0-100km-10.5sec(220CDI), 17.7(220D)(is it too slow?)
4. What is fuel consumption liters/100km in practice?
5. How good CDI and Diesels start at low temperature (-30 deg celsius) with high humidity (95%)?

I own a C 220 CDI, so i can thell the 2.2 litres is a great engine. I don't know anything about technical, but i put on it 60.000 km without any single problem. I highly recommend you this engine!
