I think there are three fuses to check - a, b, and #12.I'm fairly certain that fuse #12 provides power to term 86 for the power relay.

Thank you. I have power at every other fuse on the block except for a and b. Now I am even more confused...........while trying to diagnose the windows, I have lost pwer to the turn signals and the stereo speakers. Everything else seems to work, but I am at a loss for these last three issues. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I just ordered the workshop manual; hopefully it will help.

Fianlly I am making some progress. The radio and signals are now working. I believe it was becasue I unpluged everything from the console where the switches are (to test them). Now I am back to windows not working. Does anyone know where the the window relay is located on an 84' 300d?

if anyone has the same problem, it was in fact the window relay which is inconviently located behind the instrument cluster.
