I gotcha beat -- I have a nicely-running 1959 180D I want to sell. I bought it for $2000 in 1980, had it professionally painted and the engine rebuilt ... It's in much better shape now than it was then, and before I joined this site I was thinking I could get maybe $2500 or $3000 for it on e-Bay. But people here report picking up newer MBs for a few hundred. Go figure...
