What years did MB make diesels and
what models for those years?
I cannot find a complete list anywhere. There are SO many classes and models, it gets confusing.
Is there a link or links someone could point me to?

You are arock star with that complete list. The two cars I owned 78 300D bought in 1979) and 81 300SD (bought in 1983) were there on your list. They were both great cars but the SD had the best interior of any car I've owned (dark blue leather with a fantastic smell). It was a dream on the highway.
