What engine.....
Hi people! I'm portuguese and i'm about buying a mercedes E, w-210 but i have a problem......i dont know what engine is the best......I really need help whit that.Sorry about my english and i hope you understand what i'm trying to tell.

The 96-97 and I'm not sure if it followed 97, but the w210 diesel from this era is an Om606 and are garnered as the very best of MB diesels, at least up to that date. Newer MB diesels have still the jury out, but go for it! Just make sure there is no rust around the front coil spring perch area, as this w210 is known for such!

That's not the way to judge hard working engineers at MB.
Especially in engineering, a crock is a botched attempt or design to achieve something. An automobile with intentionally designed square wheels would be a crock.
