I was wondering what my wagon weights ('82 300TD) so I checked out the tag in the door jam. It says the "gross wt" is 4,900# and the "max cap wt" is 1,000#. This would mean that this car only weights 3,900#! I find that hard to believe. Am I missing something?! I would of guessed that this car weights at least 5K#.

 

3900 lb is about right.
That is what my ML 320 weights as well.
