transmission clunk
 

when I am driving along and let off the fuel to slow down, as in a red light then it changes green and I speed up without stopping the car kind of clunks into gear, it revs up then hits gear, I know my shift linkage is loose but could it be a certain vacuum line but could be the trans is cooked?

Besides what Forced said also check that your transmission mount is tight and in good shape.

checked the discs and put a new mount in about a month ago, i really think it's internal

centre support is good, an example of how it happens is when i roll a stop sign by letting off the fuel and coasting, then putting back on the fuel easy or hard and the car revs up like in neutral then drops into gear

Change the fluid and filter. It sounds like it is having trouble getting a full flow of fluid, which will eventually cause the clutches and bands to burn then you WILL have problems

Change your fluid and filter and see if that helps
