My 1984 300SD is slow to accelerate..one needs to really stomp on the accelerator to get it going...once the Turbo kicks in..it flies......top end speed is great. Acclerator pedal seems hard compared to my 82 300SD which is a very fast car. Any ideas why my 84 is so slow on the get go compared to my 82. Valves are adjusted, engine starts on a dime...filters are clean....the only problem with the 84 is the lag from a dead stop.

My 85' 300TD is the same, but thought it was because the turbocharger was bad.

which line of the EGR do u plug up??? Post a aic would be nice..
