selling my '84 300SD
My girlfriend decided to remove a tree with the passenger headlight of my '84 300SD..
It has ~250,000 miles, ran and drove well. I'd redone the brakes on all 4 corners last fall, with remanufactured front calipers. The glow plugs were replaced at that time, and I installed a 115a Saab alternator (upgrade, with improved wiring) around a year ago. Car started and ran well.
She tells me the car didn't stall, and believe it or not, she drove it back home a block, in her current condition.
The HOOD pushed the radiator into the fan, destroying that-- but the belts remain intact for ps/alt/water pump.. The A/C wasn't functional before the accident.
The suburb she lives in, sent her a nastygram telling her my car has got to go..
Hoped someone here was interested..
Rust wise, the bubbles in the one photo showing the passenger rear quarter and jack point are as bad as it gets.
The exhaust was swiss cheese, so I cut all but the dual mufflers in back out.. The car is still surprisingly quiet.
I'll be posting it on craigslist/ebay, as well-- as I'm forced to sell.. I don't really have time to repair it myself, or funds to have someone do it for me... And, I'm obviously under pressure to get it somewhere.. (I hate suburbia, btw..)
Anyway.. Private message me if your interested, or need more pics... I'm going to clean out the interior-- and try to get some pics of that early next week.. It's palomino mb tex.

Too bad of the crash & good thing no one was hurt.
Would a car cover & parking in your drive buy you some time? I would run that by your councilman/representative, and show you are being responsive. My experience is a neighbor has to be a nag, and has called you on this....
Nice place Perrysburg, I used to travel there nearly monthly.
I am too far of a distance & am a 300D guy for parts.
Good Luck
