Hi I am a bit new to Mercedes Diesels, but not new to diesels overall. My current ride is a 1999 Ford F350 Crew Cab DRW. I am looking to buy a daily driver for business. I have looked at a few 350sd and sdl's. What kind of issues do those cars have? The few I have considered all have been one owner and have the maintenance history to show the work done to them.

My second question, if the 350's are not as reliable, I have also seen a 1993 300D that really fits what I need.

Any advice or wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

All 3.4 liter 6s from 1990 to 1995 have issues w/ bending rods.
The 3.0 liters are good (some 300sd were 3.4) in the 124s.
I think the non turbo of 95 is considered by many to be a great motor.
