Default Power Window Failure

1982 240D - I've lost power to my front left and right rear power windows. Fuse at cowl is good. Anyone know of a relay or some other thing to check in order to track down the problem? The right front and left rear windows work.

I've heard ofdual-diagonal circuits for brakes but this is ridiculous. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

Default RE: Power Window Failure

OK, a lesson learned here. Even though the voltage tester showed 12V at both sides of the fuse there was still a hairline crack in the fuse element. Enough metal was still there to carryvoltage for the tester but not enough to operate the windows. When I removed the fuse it fell apart in my hand.

So, always remove ceramic fuses for physical inspection when electrical problems are encountered.
