Default passenger side power seat switch

newly purchased 84 300sd has a non operative power seat switch, the replacement cost of the switch is to say the least most horrific.
i want my front seat passenger to be comfortable and be able to adjust their seat.

thank you mr forced induction for helping me my question on synthetic engine oil. - francis

If you don't want to pay for a New one that leaves a used one from the Junk Yard, eBay or if someone wants to donate or sell you one.

Or, if the make one look for an entirely Manual Seat.

you can always pull the seat, hookup the bottom pos/neg inputs up to your car battery with jumper cables in order to get it to incline....My seat got stuck fully reclined, I won't disclose how it got stuck in that position, but the jump fixed it, now I can have passengers in an upright position again. As for the actual controls, they are a pain, and you have to be way smarter than me to repair them....not a terribly difficult feat.
