Default Newb Questions :)

Just bought a 87 300d, want to change fuel filters (main still has benz filter) noticed that older MD have a primer, but dont see one on the 87, only thing I see is a lever that says STOP, after I change the filters, how do I prime them? Question #2 need to change the valve cover gasket, is there any tips I need to know to do that? Looks simple, BUT i know how that can turn out Thanks for all the help... Josh

Also been reading this site for weeks now, Full of great info, hope at least a bit of it sticks now that I have one!

The Overflow/Pressure Relief Valve on your Fuel Injection Pump is supposed to be able to bleed the Air out. The older models like my 300D have a different type of Overflow Valve.

There is a more detailed answer in your other thread.
