New Diesel Owner
 

Hey guys, I just bought a 1987 300d with about 200k miles. I'm not new to working on cars but I am new to diesels. The main issue I have is that the car needs starter fluid to start but then runs great. I was wondering if anyone had some familiarity with this issue and could advise the best place to start my diagnostic. Other than that everything else seems to work as well as a car this old can. Thanks for any help!
