losing power on hills

Greetings - I tried burning WVO in single tank. Engine is now losing power on hills. Stopped trying to burn the grease, but engine is still not right. Is this a clogged fuel filter or injector problem, most likely?

From what I understand from reading a lot of posts pertaining to WVO, is that it tends to clog things up big time. Filters, tank strainers, and in some cases breaks down many of the rubber sealing rings and return lines. I would suggest that you start with your fuel filters first, and I would also recommend that you continue to monitor them for at least a few fill ups. Good luck

RE: losing power on hills

I have been running 2 cars on WVO for 1 year and have clocked 15000 miles on each. You must filter your oil well. I use the same MBZ filter assembly from a 300D to filter my oil and it gives me good result. I use a pump to pump the WVO through. However, I experience lately that I have a lot of metal bits at the 'primary' in line flter. It is clogging the fuel line and the engine loses power and could stall completely. What I find is that the glow plug in my in-line heater is kind of 'dis-integrating' and giving a lot of metal debris. You may try to check that.
