lift pump
 

Neither my primer nor left pump is working. The fuel line is clear and fuel in the tank. Can the primer pump affect the way the lift pump works? Can I rebuild the pump? I only find used pumps on the web. I assume new one are very expensive but I haven't seen any for sale. Are there companies that rebuild pumps? Any tips on picking a used pump? Any tests I can do with the pump in the car? Any advice is appreciated.

I found a vender on ebay that rebuilds lift pumps. Has anyone done business with vid5a on ebay? They have a 99%+ satisfaction rating and charge $299, which compares favorably with prices for used ones. Has anyone delt with them or does anyone know of other companies that rebuild lift pumps?
