i have a german 84 300td. nicknamed the molar because it is just big and white! however, door lock working intermittently, slow, or not at all. the problem seems to only happen when the car is cold and not had a long time to run. The right locks will generally unlock themselves after i drive for a bit. the left rear and rear hatch do not. Help! Thanks.

 

You probably have a slow vacuum leak somewhere in the system as most of us do. The cold weather shrinks the rubber fittings that connect the plastic vacuum hoses together and makes the problem even more noticeable this time of year.
