Hi I recently bought 1989 709D ex snap on van. Stripping electrics out of rear I managed to re-activate malfunctioning alarm/immob. Stripped out alarm and reconnected ignition to starter and got engine turning on starter. It still won't fire though and I presume a fuel problem but can't find any solenoid anywhere or any electrical connections to motor other than starter, alternator, temp and oil sensors. Can anyone explain vac. system to me. What does it do (other than brakes) and could this be the problem?? Thanx for reading.
