Is this a good deal?
I'm a BMW guy but I am trying to help a friend find a good cheap diesel Mercedes for his first car,in my area this is the best one I found. 1978 Diesel Mercedes Benz 240d

I'm not very concerned about it being slow, looking for a cheap long lasting reliable car. About how much do old diesel Mercs like this tend to go for. This one looks pretty nice from what I can tell.
