Default fuel leak

All right all!
I have a 1996 E300 Diesel. Car runs tops. Daily driver. I came out this morning and found about pint of so of fuel leaked out in about a 24 hour period. car started fine. Do i have a major issue on my hands? any info will help. Thanks all

There are o rings which are likely to also leak. These are between the shut off valve and the injector pump. That is where my leaks began. Cheap enough to replace all fuel hoses & o rings and be done with this.

X2 what FI said on fuel leaks, just because it is not gasoline, a fuel fire can be terminal, for you & car.

Good Luck
