1979 sd headlights work on low beam,,,click to high beam and driver side goes off.bulbs are good.pass side both light.

Check your fuses. They are individually fused.

You might want to check your relays as well not forgetting corrossion of the connectors

I am unsure whether you actually switched the passenger bulb to the drivers side to make sure the bulb was not the problem. If you did that already my apologies.
