I have a 80 300SD. It has a beautiful body, new engine (with no oil pressure) and a new transmission. Can any other year engine and trans go into this 116 body car? There are a lot of 123 engines out there but I don't know if it will mount up. I really don't want the 4 speed trans but it's new so I wouldn't know what to do with it but if I could mount up a 5 speed with a different engine I would keep the car. Can anyone help??

Thanks for the lead. I've PM'ed him, maybe someone can breathe life into this car. Otherwise it will go piece by piece or whole. I've got to move soon and can't take it with me.
