Diesel purge
 

Did the diesel purge on my car this weekend, as shown on diesel giant website. While I didn't get any of the drastic black clouds of smoke others discussed, I noticed improved smoothness in idle and throttle response. It was rather easy to do to boot!

I wonder though if the smoother idle isn't just due to replacing the fuel filter. Without ever doing a diesel purge I've noticed that my idle always smooths out with a fresh filter.
