Default Cut off valve

Gentleman
1989 124 with a 603 engine.
Was looking at replacing my shutoff valve on top of the IP.
A few problems with this....
First, tell me if I'm wrong but the intake manifold has to come off...
Then any special care in removing the valve that sits on top of the IP?
Or is there another way to do this?
Cheers
Big Dan

Ok I got them mixed up....
I'm talking about the actuator sitting on top the IP.
If you look closely at the picture there is no way to reach the far screw with out removing the intake manifold, because the alda is in the way.Only 1 and 3/4 inches above the alda sits the manifold.
