Convert '83 190D to 5-speed?
Hi, I'm new to the forum.
I have a 10/'83 190D automatic (I detest automatics, but the car was in great shape and I couldn't pass it up). I have come across a smashed '85 190E with a 5-speed manual. Is this a straight-forward conversion? Does the body already have all the holes it needs? Does the 5-speed bell housing match the engine? I don't want to have to get pieces fabricated.
