I own a 1983 300SD. I had to change the battery and ever since I cannot get the radio to turn on. It will play a casset but there is no volume control. The fuse is good. Is there a way to reset the radio?

The AC compressor will not turn on (new in 04 with conversion to 134). I checked the fuse # 11 and there is no fuse # 11 only a penciled note that says "fuse outside of box". I have traced the compessor wiring looking for an inline fuse but cant locate one.

If the AC won't come on have the refrigerant level checked.
