New to Mercedes anddiesel. Looking into purchasing an 80's to early 90's 300D. Having troubles finding threads with manual transmission info. Could some one point me out to a thread with this information. Or does anyone have any information on manual transmissions for Mercedes?

 

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I think I found the thread at mercedesshop. A four speed into a 300cd? I was thinking probably a 5 speed? The reason I am asking, is because I need to know what model of benz I need to buy in order to do a 5 speed swap, and if at all, it is possible.
