I have a 300D 2.5 Turbo with 257k miles. Problem is with irratic jolting or jarring shifts with a clunking noise coming from rear diff; particularly when I let off the gas in traffic. She almost always shifts smooth when cold but seems to occur when she gets to temperature. I have replaced all four rear diff bushings but that just softened the jolt. Also replaced vacuum hoses. Any ideas?
