87 300 sdl injector line still leaking
I just replaced my #4 injector line with a used line. Initially it
was leaking from the injector. Replacement fixes the leak there
but is now leaking at the IP. The compression nut tightens down but
the line still feels loose at the IP and there is still fuel leaking.
Is there a way to put a washer inside the nut to make the nut
compress down more on the flange?
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

I think you will find that there is a hair-line crack at the base of the injection tube. It is a fairly common place where they crack. It is due to vibration and fatigue. Replace the tube and make sure that all the rubber mounts where the tubes rest are secure. I used rubber pads I cut from an old inner tube and tied each injection tube secure with cable ties. Doing this will dampen vibration in the injection tubes reducing, or eliminating, premature fatigue and cracking...Good luck.

Aquaman, I saved all the injector lines from my old 603 and found that I could bend into shape some of the lines to accommodate other than the injector it was pre-bent to fit to!
Don't know if you have spares, but it may be worth it when you discover what they get for new ones!
Just secure them really well, otherwise you'll be replacing more!
