83 300sd Mono valve check
 

I think my mono valve (heater control) is bad. I have intermittent heat, it will produce good heat then start blowing cold air. I am fairly certain the aux pump is working, I can hear it running.

How do I check the mono valve? Also, does the mono valve have 12VDC supplied continously when calling for heat?
