Shocks and springs replacement coming soon... word is bilsteins are the best buy and compliment the w123 frame very well. Is there a one set of springs recommended over the others. Any tech tips on the brand (best) parts to purchase and diy project for same is again appreciated.

Since i plan to do all work i'm capable of myself, i want to replace worn parts with best recommend replacements.

Question: Are all springs for the model ie... HD, variable-rate, standard comparable to the various shocks offered for same model years? anything to avoid here?
