Hey guys,

Im a new MB owner. I just aquired my grandmothers 79 300SD daily driver. I was noticing that there is a large lag in the car from a dead stop as well as hard acceleration. From a dead stop, I have to put the pedal on the floor in order for the car to get going but once it spools up(I can feel when the turbo kicks in) it will speed up. Is this a turbo problem? I adjusted the ALDA like I had been suggested to in other forums and noticed a mild improvement. I'd appreciate any ideas or advise anyone might have!
