300sd white smoke at idle
Hello gentlemen! I have a 83 300sd that I've had for about 2 years. After the car is warmed up and idling, I get quite a bit of white smoke coming out of the tail pipes. The car runs and drives like an absolute dream. Im figuring that its either an injector problem(which I doubt since I replaced the nozzles last year), or a timing issue) please correct me if I am wrong.
I'm only 18, and this car is MY baby. I've done all the work on it myself. I've stripped a palomino interior(speakers and all) out of a second gen 126(absolutely amazing condition), and transfered it into my car. I've also rebuilt the transmition, the entire front end and suspension, fixed the rocker panels and jack points, and rust proofed them. Rebuilt the starter and alternator myself. Replaced the radiator, and water pump(inside of the engine block is absolutely pristine). Replaced or rebuilt about every rotating electrical component in the car. The car is the best of both the 1st and second gen 126 diesels. I'm not going to part with my **** sled, but I would like to see what it is worth. If anyone knows.
Any help would be much appreciated!
