I have a 1980 300D with the auto. I have posted a thread before looking for any advice on converting a Toyota 5sp to replace the auto. After some great advice, I have decided to convert to a 240D 4sp manual instead.
My question is since I will need the pedals, trans, flywheel, and anything else that the manual conversion will need - a donor vehicle basically. Is there a good certain 240D model year to look for in a donor car for doing this conversion?
