I am just trying to replace my alternator but am having trouble getting the old one out. I have the through bolt on the bottom out. I can not get the adjustment through bolt out on top in orfer to remove the alternator.

Any ideas?

 

What are you using to remove it? Ratchet wrench?

 

When my mount broke, I ended up rotating the alternator up and removing the mount from the engine. Once I got the top mount repaired, then I was able to put it back in, but I bent the adjuster tab to slide the top bolt through.
Somebody knows the proper way please reply as I might need to remove it again someday.
