1979 300D - intermittent loss of power
 

This car sat in my barn for about 12 years. Replaced the battery and fluids and it started right up. Problem is that it will be running fine and then the power will bog down to nothing even when floored. Sometimes completely stall. Other times it will pick up and run normally. When it stalls, it will restart normally.

Any help is appreciated.

The fuel filters were replaced and the screen in the tank was cleaned. Will check for rust. Thanks.
