HI there, new here. SO I have a project I'm working on for my young son. It is a 190D (OM621) engine, manual trans mated to a small transfer case. It will be in a kid sized rock/offroad buggy. I've had other MB diesel cars and not too impressed with their street power. So running a different engine in the actual ponton.

Anyways my question is, what automatic transmission will bolt up (without some special adapter) to my 1959 engine, if any. Thanks for any help.

 

Thats what I was afraid of. I am really OK with next to zero power. This is a learning experience for him and a clutch will make it almost impossible. So are you aware of any autos that will work? thanks again
