Hello all, need to fix the issue soonest possible. The day before car went dead, it was hard to start. After a few time of cranking, it fires up, but initially it doesn't have power during acceleration. Only after a few minture it became normal. The next day it went totally dead😡. I though it might be the cause of kickdown relay 001-545-8005. Would appreciate any info and valuable advise from here, dated Dec 24, 2011. Thanks n happy holidays!!!😊😄

 

Hello, after sometime of browsing this forum in search of a solution to my issue; I came across someone mentioned about the stop lever which move up and down ward movement. When cranking, the stop lever would be up position so that it releases air and fuel, down position is to shut all off. This hits the nail because mine was about to start but could not as the stop lever was stuck in a down position. When it was lifted up, the engine fires right up every time it was cranked. Thank you to all who one way or the other have contributed advise to this super good and valuable forum. Post dated Dec 25th, 2011.
