DRIVERS BEWARE!

1st off, if I offend anyone in any way I apologize. If some of you guys are in the Tampa Bay (Florida)area beware. Stay far & clear from the Mercedes Benz dealer Collision Centerlocated right off Dale Mabry (inside the Nissan dealership). I took my 06 CLS 55 AMG to get some minor cosmetic (get rid of some dings & scratches)work done & my car looks the same as it went in. They held my vehicle for over a week & a half. It doesn't take that long to repaint your car professionally. They did a ****ty-ass job. I also ask them to take off the V8 Compressor lettering on the side & they left some of theadhesive & dent mark behind. This is a $90,000 vehicle. Common sense will tell you the owner doesn't want to see that left behind especially if I'm bringing it in to get ridall theblemishes.Again, I'm sorry if your related to Andy or especially Terry. They'relike "Keystone Cops" them two. If I were you, I'd take my car to a local body shop to save you theaggrevation I just went thru.

P.S. I'm new to the Tampa Bay area & looking for a good body shop to finish what these bozo's could not finish!

Thank You,
Lou E350

RE: DRIVERS BEWARE!

Lou,
Thanks for posting the heads up about who not to use.

It sounds like what you may need, if I understand the net of your message, is a 'paintless dent guy' to get the dings out (as long as the paint isn't broken' and probably a Detail Shop near you with a good reputation. If this is correct, first call Robert at DentMaster. He does the paintless dent/ding removal on both my MB's and when he's finished, you'll never know you had a ding in the first place. His number is 727-804-3436 (cellphone)

When/if you follow up with him, tell him that Bob Jones in Bradenton suggested you call him. Depending on where you live in relation to him, he either comes to you or you can meet up with him at the many dealers he services. Just work that part out.

Robert knows most of the good body shops and Detailers and can advise you on which you needfor thescratches, etc.

Bottom line, great guy, honest, fast, very reasonable pricing and absolutely knows what he's doing. Welcome to FL

Bob

RE: DRIVERS BEWARE!

Lou, I share yourpain living in Tampa. I've been here for 18 years. My only advise is to get use to it or move. I say that because I stress myself out talking to the local idiots also all the time. I found out two really good places that do absolute amazing work.

Paint and body:
Gene Perez Auto Body Repairs
5131 W Hanna Ave
Tampa, FL 33634
813-881-9700

Servicework:
German Motorcars, Inc.
3810 W. Linebaugh Ave
Tampa, FL 33618
813-960-2288

Let me know if I can help you out any further.
