E 212 Model - US release of diesel version (E250)?
 

Has anyone heard any definitive news regarding MBUSA's plans to bring the diesel version of the new 212 E to the US? In April 2009 at the New York Auto Show, a diesel E250 was on display (or at least there are several reports available on the internet to that effect - I did not attend the NY show).

If I want to go diesel soon, I may have to search for a used Bluetech from the last E version, but I would prefer to have the state of the art features of the 212.
