W209 amp fan stays on
 

Lost speaker output today. The Harmon optic amp in the trunk has a constant cooling fan running even an hour after the car was off. Never noticed this fan before.

pulled dash fuse #26 to shut the fan off.

I’d like to pull the amp, but it buried behind a bunch of wires going to the trunk fuse/relay block. Does that block have to be removed to get to the amp? I have a cabriolet. Thanks
